Did exist the labyrinth of the minotaur?




In 1900, English archaeologist named Arthur Evans discovered the remains of a huge building, now known as the Palace of Knossos. It is thought that the complexity of the palace, with its 800 rooms, suggested that the chroniclers of the time the idea of a 'maze'. Looking closely, it was discovered that part of it had been in his time a strong center of religious activity, where they worshiped bulls. According to legend, the wife of King Minos, who lived in this place, fell in love with one of them and gave birth to a monster, the Minotaur, half man half bull.
